Employer of the Year
This award recognises an employer in the Arable sector (large or small) who has demonstrated exemplary employment practices in place that support employee wellbeing and health & safety practices. Encourage employment retention, promote a positive culture and offer or support a progressive career pathway in the Arable sector/industry.

Arable Researcher of the Year
This award is an opportunity to recognise a researcher or research team whose work has contributed to the ongoing success of the New Zealand arable industry. Nominees could include researchers from universities, levy groups, CRIs, industry or other institutions, companies or organisations.

Arable Farmer of the Year
This award recognises an Arable farmer who excels in all aspects of the arable industry. The judges will be looking for a sustainable farm business, which balances production and profitability requirements against environmental and community outcomes, as well as evidence of long-term commitment to the industry.

Innovation Award
This award recognises those across the Arable sector who are innovative and lead the way for others to follow. Someone who is prepared to develop and/or trial new crops or build new tools, techniques, and methods with the aim of improving the economic and environmental sustainability of their business. This person might be a grower, researcher, industry spokesperson, foodie, journalist or anyone associated with the industry.
